Grancino Music Ensemble

The Grancino Music Ensemble comprises some of the most accomplished musicians in the southern California area. The ensemble members have performed together and individually at some of the most respected venues for music. The ensemble's founder, violinist Franklin Foster, has performed as soloist with San Francisco Symphony, San Francisco Chamber Orchestra, and has given violin recitals on the West and East Coasts of the United States. He has also recorded extensively for television and movies and recorded a CD featuring music by Paganini and Bach. The other musicians are also outstanding and have been soloists and participants on numerous programs and recordings.

If you are interested in hiring the group but would prefer a larger or smaller ensemble, we can accommodate you by performing as a chamber orchestra or as a smaller ensemble (eg., quintet, quartet, trio, duo.) Engaging one musician as a soloist is also possible. All the instrumental ensembles can incorporate keyboards, guitars and woodwinds if the location is appropriate. We perform classical and popular/contemporary compositions. The ensemble serves the Los Angeles, Orange County and San Diego areas. Please contact us and make your event musically memorable.

The ensemble is available for: wedding ceremonies and receptions, art gallery special events, parties and social gatherings. The audio clips below represent a small sample of selections we perform from traditional wedding/reception music. The instumentation is a string quartet (2 violins, 1 viola, 1 cello.)
